Solar trike

Interesting vehicle made by Pakistani student, Farrukh Khan, of the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. It took him only 18 days and under 600 USD from idea to completion. It has roof mounted 40 watt solar panel and 12 V 80 Ah on board battery. Max speed is 30 km/h and a range of 70 km with full charge.

Adding more solar panels would allow use of stronger electric motor.

Delijski vis off-road

  A quick and nice 7 km, +286 ascent off-road cycling trail in the area of Nis. Quite bad road with a lot of holes and gravel. Map and elevation profile is at the bottom of the page.

  Follow the Ljubomira Nikolica street, pass the Church School, big white building on the left. Make a left turn at the soccer stadium (1) where you can also refill your water bottle.

 You will embark on a steep uphill gravel road and pass some military facility. Then you reach some abandoned farm buildings (2) to the left.

  After a while you'll reach a small pond (3):

  Turn left from the pond and go all the way uphill until you reach the top:

 

Soon, you will enter a small forest:

 

                  

When you exit the forest be prepared for a steep downhill back to town (4)!
